An aggregate is either a set of interacting individual machines, apparatuses and parts or a whole three-man orchestra consisting of cello, drum set, drum synthesizer, analog synths and lots of effects and filters. The latter is a regular guest on the Lärzer stages and we are very happy to finally be able to admire, listen to and dance to the trio at at.tension.

They combine class and class struggle. Uniquely rapping, Drowning Dog, one of the most talented MCs in political rap, swims on Malatestas anarchically claustrophobic electronic bass beats. Their stage presence: an explosion of hip hop with hardcore and punk attitude.

Music as a subject is constantly evolving from uncountable influences. In order to understand the history, emotions and structures of certain periods and their musical output, esclé decided to go on a seemingly and hopefully never ending journey of research. His djing can be as diverse as music itself. From concept based to atmospheric listening focus or straight dance music. His researches are mostly based and influenced by Tribal, Psychedelic Rock, Jazz, traditional Folklore, Ambient, Industrial, Punk and Techno from around the world. Besides being a dj he is one of the founders of “Pracht” from Leipzig, Curator and always working on various projects that aim to make the music/culture scene a bit stronger.

Hans Unstern makes a new album: DIVEN. Hans Unstern and Simon Bauer present the current state of work of their jointly spun mega-instrument, a V-shaped harp, which was created in several years of spinning and weaving. As monumental as this web stands on the stage, as delicate are its details: even the pickups are wound by hand, gold hair made of copper wire, in 8000 revolutions. A beguiling mixture of tender sound inventions and massive pop behaviour, mouseiness and pathos, piano wire and laugh folded feather boa.

Hobby Horse is a progressive/experimental/crossover jazz trio based in Italy, figurehead of the rapidly developing new Italian jazz scene, but equally comfortable playing underground rock venues and dance clubs. During 8 years of intense activity they have released 5 records to widespread critical acclaim and their touring schedule has seen them performing in important festivals and clubs throughout Europe and North America .Their music is a wildly unpredictable mix of styles, a melting pot of musical languages ranging from slam poetry to techno to psychedelic bossanova, prog rock, hip-hop and chamber music. Passing from hypnotic drones to violent explosions of noise, they manage to maintain an underlying sense of balance, shared exploration and discovery, sculpting their sets into an overarching form which maintains artistic coherence despite (or perhaps due to) the drastic contrasts it contains.

The Hudaki Village Band are nine berserkers from the Ukrainian Carpathians, who in 17 years of band history and countless concerts have found their way to find a masterful alchemy of musical-vibrating happiness. Even the uninitiated are taken by storm, and experience nocturnal moments of happiness in the almost illegal archaic. The village musicians are called Hudaki in the Maramures region, a mountainous area in the southwest of Ukraine on the border with Romania and Hungary. Different ethnic musical influences make the traditional music so diverse and unique. Archaic-Slavic vocal tradition, Romanian melodies, Jewish rhythms and Romanian temperament merge into a local cross culture that has developed over centuries of coexistence. Come with us deep into the East - we want to dance!

This theatrical concert combines radical queer-punk energy with a slightly bizarre passion for folkloric grandmas. They blend brass-band punch with the art of drag to surprise you with transfeminist rewritings of your favourite pop songs. Prepare yourself for booty-shaking in wigs and high heels.

Rage and frustration as emission-free but nevertheless rocket-propelled turbo-diesels are fuels recognized in art. The fact that Lisaholic is concerned with the status quo of emancipation and feminism, the work on both, as well as with great and complete imbalances, is not exactly the best kept secret under the at.tension sky. But the fact that the woman has a whole band in her mouth is a spectacle of the extra class. Beat boxing and live loops - your ears are rattling. In addition, if necessary also four languages are rapped. And if you think that would be too intellectual for you: far from it. Because Vulgar romantics and fecal wit laughs will also get their money's worth here.

Lizzy is the singer and Palm the song. Or maybe Palm is the radio station whose melody Lizzy hears while she grabs a pen. Maybe it is the button she presses to record the signal ... Or maybe Palm is also the sea through which sound waves move. Or the glue between beings. Electricity. Magnetism. In any case Lizzy does not like to claim the honour alone. The music stretches over many things: rock, pop, blues, folk, calypso, jazz and funk.

Gently but surely Mila Stern pushes us forward. Little butt kicks for luck, until you dance on your toes and want to scream "Whaaat!? Musically socialized in youth centers and occupied houses, grown up in Tel Aviv and received in the most beautiful clubs of the country, she moves skilfully at 123.4 bpm. She is the one who always has an answer. Not only musically.

Live Techno/Emolektra. Their music: an outburst into the subconscious - dark, beautiful, unaesthetic and melancholic. Melodies that feel like splashes of paint on rough concrete.

Concentrate! Between apocalypse and smart phone. Concentrate! Between hysteria and potted plants. Concentrate! In front of the loudspeaker. Since the Stone Age, Pastor Leumund has been collecting slogans for the crazy. The psychedelic hip hop and electro tracks by Friedrich Greiling aka Mittekill are now accompanied by discourse-disco anthems, with what not only smirking ravers and hecklers get agitated. He is a collectively lived rupture with ways of thinking, linguistic systems, and behavioural patterns that explores the cracks of reason and understanding in an incomprehensibly unreasonable world.

In the 14 years of their existence, The OhOhOhs developed from a pure club and party band to a serious project, which now operates under the catchphrase "concertante club music" and has developed their instruments accordingly. Where in the past a synthesizer was used, now a concert grand piano is on stage. The purely electronic sound was multiplied by an acoustic one. After live techno, the musicians began to deal with classical music and merged both styles. Club-oriented Electro-Riot-Melange. The OhOhOhs bet that even technosceptics will definitely freak out here. Wanna bet?

What do you get when you throw a washboard, mini megaphone, ukulele, rubber chicken, some tap shoes, a trumpet, 2 kangaroos and some tzatziki into a blender? Zap grew in the artistic playground of Berlin, blossoming from a craigslist add for swing music lovers, some special feelings and generally nice times. Drawing inspiration from Bob Fosse, Louis Prima, skiffle music and ancient laundry practices, Zap creates much more than just tunes that get your feet and vocal chords loose... It's gonna be a wild physical show to lighten your load and bubble your bath!

Producer & DJ TONY DIA, born on the Croatian coast, is Regensburg's newcomer to the music scene. She moved from the beautiful city of Split on the Adriatic Sea to the cathedral city, where she came into contact with electronic music for the first time. She lived out her musical talents in her home country at an early age, singing in various bands. Soon she put herself behind the turntables and quickly inspired the dancing people. With the help and support of the Paradise Circus team she soon made a name for herself in the deep house, tech house and techno scene. Although her journey has just begun, she works hard on herself and spends a lot of time on the keyboard, in the music school and on the computer and this pays off!

Their music is calm, stretches its feelers gently towards warmth and can collapse just as loudly in the next moment. An important element is the close friendship between the four musicians: the different sources of inspiration come together in this intimacy. This dreamy energy becomes audible and visible in their concerts and includes the audience. Everyone brings impulses for new compositions into the band. These form a minimalist starting point to search together for sounds that spring from the moment: from floating surfaces, soft clangs to driving pulses and dancing melodies. The result is a wandering between an eccentric view to the outside and an intimacy that hides in its own world.
